New Company is looking to hire Line Cooks who would work in their Container Restaurants. Opportunity to work in new take-out style restaurant concept sweeping throughout the city of Miami and Coral Gables. Must be available for an immediate interview and start work immediately.


Responsible for the preparation and production of all food items at the station according to specifications. Maintains the highest standard and practices of food hygiene possible.

  • Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the brands and management.
  • Coordinates the production of all foods within pre set time standards.
    Demonstrates product standards and recipe knowledge daily
  • Sets up, maintains side work, and/or closes station for scheduled shift (e.g., checks and/or breaks down and cleans equipment, preps all appropriate food items, stocks all food items and smallwares, dates food items and stores according to first in first out rotation method, etc.).
  • Prepares and plates station food items according to specifications and preset time limits.
  • Ensures safety and sanitation standards are always maintained.
  • Properly uses personal protective equipment (e.g. glove, oven mitt, apron, etc.)
  • Maintains a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance.
  • Communicates any product run outs, equipment issues, and quality or service problems to the Senior Chef on duty immediately.
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Senior Food Team, Head Chef or Sous Chef at any time.
  • Communicates with the Head Chef and Sous Chef any issues that become apparent during their shift.

Line Cooks are to ensure that they:
  • Sanitize the entire work surface of the cooking area prior to start of work.
  • Prepare cooking area to ensure that correct ‘fit for purpose’ utensils and equipment are available.
  • Prepare and clean ingredients (when required).
  • Cook orders as received to specified standard from pre-received ingredients and set method in the appropriate time frame set in the Kitchen Manual.
  • Ensure adherence to portion controls as laid down.
  • Ensure minimum food wastage and ensure accurate recording of all food waste
  • Clean up work area after use.
  • Carry out nightly accurate stock checks of the section and write appropriate hand over notes.
  • Ensure that good working, safety and hygiene practices are carried out as a matter of course at all times.

  • Good English language skills
  • Valid Food Safety certification
  • Some food knowledge and restaurant experience recommended.
  • Ability to stand during an entire shift
  • Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions and weekends
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
  • Good personal organisation

  • Friendly, outgoing and flexible.
  • Used to working in a pressured environment.
  • Able and willing to work extra hours as business demands require.


$15 - $18 Per Hour (depending on experience)
